Here are the images for two layouts I would code, but the stupid filter won't let me. I'll code them as soon as the problem is fixed... Mystery Island <style /> body{ background-color:#F0FEEF;} a:link,a:visited,a:active{ color:#348303;} td,p,body{ font-size:8pt; font-family:verdana;}
.header{color:#ffffff; background:#348303; border-bottom:3px dotted; font-weight:italic; font-family:mistral; font-size:25pt; } #footer,#header,hr,#usercollections,#usershop,#userneohome,#usertrophies{display:none;} #main{background:#000000;} #userneopets img, #usershop img, #usertrophies img, #neohome img {width:20px; height:20px;} #userinfo{position:absolute;left:30px;top:400px;width:350px;height:300px;overflow:auto;background-color:#000000;} #userneopets{position:absolute;left:30px;top:700px;width:350px;height:300px;overflow:auto;background-color:#000000;} .text{ color:#000000;}

And a fairly simple guide/tutorial thing with some handy tips. Making your Graphics Spiffy There's a definite difference between spiffy and none spiffy graphics. The spiffy ones seem to be the more eye pleasing and all around preferable ones, so reading this will be of some use to you. I'll explain some tricks that'll make your creations more spazzy. First, we'll start with a simple image like so. As you can see, it needs to be spiffified. Saving as a gif… Saving your file as a gif as opposed to a jpeg may create some desirable effects on your image. They will be most apparent if your image contains gradients. They will no longer fade the same way, instead they will alsmot have layers. Basically, with a gif, colors have visible lines were one ends and another begins. If we save this image as a gif, it will look like this. The box effect… Creating boxes or other shapes that are semi transparent can create a neat effect too. Here's what it would look like. Acid border… Take a brush that has ragged edges, or if you only have the choice of a solid or gradient brush choose the gradient brush. Now change the brush's color to white, black, or whatever background color you want, and run the brush along the sides of the image. Text overlay… Adding text is one of my favorite techniques. First you copy and paste your desired text onto the picture. Normally I choose text that has something to do with the image. Then change the words to a color that is hard to read and eye pleasing at the same time, no clashy. If your art program gives you the option, you can make it semi-transparent instead. Arrange the text as you wish; make it sideways, tilted overlapping stuff, wrapping around boxes, etc. Remember, your goal is to make it look good, not legible. Feel free to change the font as you please as well. Swirls… I can't draw them, but swirls are totally pwnsomeful. Maybe you're better at it than me. Draw a line coming from the corner of the image, the side, wrapping around a box, etc, and then add curls and circles and other wonderful things including flowers and butterflies. These are but a few of the many things you can make. Try to combine the different techniques to make it really awesome. Here's an example of combining them for inspiration.

i know, thats why i said the size doesnt matter, but i cant use the ones you madew above because i need to show people what the layout would look like in a guild, because they cant see that they may just look and think 'i dont like it already' you know?
